Senior Consultant - MuleSoft Integration

Responsibilities

• Provide integration solution delivery and guidance to influence development standards, governance, and operational lifecycles.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement fit-for-purpose integration platforms considering security, scalability, and maintainability.
• Analyze requirements and design integration solutions in partnership with engagement teams and client stakeholders.
• Own project deliverables, including high-quality technical design and implementation aligned with defined requirements.
• Work alongside Integration Architects to deliver compelling presentations and lead requirement gathering workshops.
• Participate in internal Slalom events and initiatives to support team growth.

Requirements

• Experience performing detailed technical design and implementation on integration platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi, Informatica, or similar).
• Proven experience with API Management platforms such as MuleSoft, Apigee, Kong, or API Connect.
• Experience implementing real-time, event-driven, and batch integration solutions.
• Demonstrated end-to-end Software Development Life-cycle (SDLC) experience across multiple technical integration projects.
• Strong understanding of security standards and mechanisms including OAuth, OpenID Connect, JWT, and LDAP.
• Understanding of structured and unstructured databases and data models (e.g., MS SQL, MySQL, Postgres, MongoDB).
• Familiarity with cloud-based and on-premise enterprise applications such as Salesforce, SAP, Oracle, or Workday.
• Australian Citizenship is required for this role.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in large-scale integration projects involving large and multi-sourced data sets.
• Understanding of Open Source architectures or past contributions to open source projects.
