About the role

Responsibilities

  • Own the development and maintenance of Liquidity Risk Policy, Standards, and associated governance documentation.
  • Present and contribute to key governance committees, including Market and Liquidity Risk and Data and Governance committees.
  • Support the enhancement of liquidity risk measurement methodologies and models for key metrics, stress testing, and risk appetite.
  • Provide independent oversight, challenge, and monitoring of the firm’s liquidity risk profile and regulatory compliance.
  • Assess compliance with regulatory requirements and industry practices applicable to liquidity management.
  • Engage with audit teams and collaborate on remediation efforts.
  • Recommend and advise on risk mitigation steps and framework enhancements to senior leadership.

Requirements

  • 9+ years of experience in financial services, specifically in treasury, risk management, compliance, or regulatory oversight.
  • Deep understanding of liquidity regulations (e.g., LCR, NSFR, Enhanced Prudential Standards, 2052a).
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to perform investigative problem-solving.
  • Proven ability to challenge the status quo and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting risks to management.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Industry certifications such as CFA or FRM.
  • Proficiency with analytics tools including Excel, Python, Power BI, PowerApps, or AI.
  • Knowledge of balance sheets, custody business, and treasury instruments.
