Senior Consultant IT Service Management

Responsibilities

• Advise public sector clients in the CIO environment on strategic and organizational IT Service Management questions
• Develop Target Operating Models for IT organizations based on established best practices
• Analyze organizational, process, and governance structures to create sustainable target images
• Design and support the implementation of IT Service Management processes, specifically using the ITIL framework
• Integrate business and IT processes into user-oriented digital services for administration and citizens
• Moderate decision-making processes in workshops and guide leadership teams through change projects
• Identify new consulting needs and contribute to the development of the service portfolio

Requirements

• Degree in (Business) Informatics, Mathematics, Economics, or a comparable field
• Several years of professional experience in consulting or transformation projects, ideally within IT organizations
• Sound knowledge of IT Service Management and common best-practice models
• Experience in analysis, conception, and structured decision support in complex environments
• Confident and professional communication with stakeholders at specialist and management levels
• German language skills (B2 level or higher) and English proficiency

Preferred Qualifications

• Initial experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow or comparable solutions
