Senior Consultant - Internal Audit

Responsibilities

• Implement best practices in internal audit and compliance to advance Authority objectives.
• Assess risk-management effectiveness and ensure audited practices reflect corporate governance principles.
• Devise strategies to overcome issues hindering the implementation of strategic and business plans.
• Provide expert advice in internal control, project management, auditing, corporate governance, and compliance.
• Assist in the preparation of risk-based internal audit plans and identify priority audit areas.
• Execute audit plans according to international internal audit standards using sampling methods.
• Evaluate internal control systems to verify effectiveness, efficiency, and optimal use of resources.
• Coordinate with relevant sectors to ensure the implementation of approved internal audit recommendations.
• Provide consultancy and advisory services to senior management as approved by the IA Director.
• Support the department's role in quality, excellence, and ISO initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 14+ years of relevant experience (for Bachelor's degree holders).
• 12+ years of relevant experience (for Master's degree holders).
• 8+ years of relevant experience (for PhD holders).
