Senior Consultant in Social Policy

Responsibilities

• Manage and contribute to strategic studies, evaluations, and analytical assignments for the European Commission
• Design and implement robust qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, including stakeholder consultations and data analysis
• Draft high-quality reports, policy briefs, and presentations to translate findings into practical recommendations
• Coordinate project teams, timelines, and budgets to ensure high-quality delivery
• Contribute to the preparation of winning proposals for European Commission tenders and identify new business opportunities
• Coach and mentor junior consultants and share methodological expertise across the team

Requirements

• 5–8 years of professional experience in consultancy, policy research, or applied research
• Strong knowledge of EU social policy (e.g., employment, social inclusion, ESF+, skills, or education)
• Proven experience working with the European Commission or other EU institutions
• Demonstrated experience in EU tenders and proposal development
• Strong qualitative and quantitative research skills
• Excellent drafting, reporting, and communication skills in English
• EU citizenship or a valid work permit

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of other European languages
• Experience in a consultancy or advisory environment
