Senior Consultant - Financial Modelling and Economic Analysis

Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and maintain robust, auditable financial models including project finance, asset-level, and portfolio models
• Perform investment appraisal and returns analysis using metrics such as IRR, NPV, and DSCR
• Design and execute scenario and sensitivity analysis to assess downside resilience and upside potential
• Undertake macro, sectoral, and market analysis to translate economic insights into quantitative modelling assumptions
• Support technical and commercial due diligence by reviewing business plans, revenue assumptions, and capex programmes
• Identify key risks and inconsistencies in financial projections provided by sponsors or operators
• Prepare client-ready outputs that articulate key risks, sensitivities, and value drivers to support decision-making

Requirements

• Proven experience in infrastructure or investment advisory, project finance, or financial advisory
• Strong expertise in financial modelling, specifically project finance and cash flow models
• Experience in model review and validation, including challenging financial projections and underlying assumptions
• Advanced Excel capability with a focus on model transparency, auditability, and flexibility
• Experience in economic and market analysis supporting investment decisions
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex analysis into clear insights for investors and lenders
