Senior Consultant - FAAS - Transaction Accounting & Capital Markets

Responsibilities

• Provide advisory services on transactional accounting and reporting for M&A, divestitures, and financial carve-outs
• Support IPO readiness and execution for both equity and debt offerings under tight deadlines
• Report directly to Managers, Directors, and Partners during the planning, execution, and wrap-up stages of engagements
• Ensure high-quality work delivery in compliance with EY policies and regulatory requirements
• Monitor engagement economics against key financial metrics and manage internal and external stakeholders
• Identify and communicate relevant market trends and key performance drivers to clients
• Collaborate with other EY service lines and specialists to deliver integrated service offerings

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance and/or accounting
• Minimum of three years of experience in audit, consulting, or as a technical resource for a public accounting firm
• Professional certification such as CPA, CA, or ACCA
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards
• Excellent written and verbal English communication and technical writing skills
• Ability to research complex client inquiries, including public company regulations and emerging industry practices
• Flexibility and willingness to travel on short notice as required

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree or MBA qualification
• Proven track record with a leading audit firm
• Proficiency in the Arabic language
• Sector experience in Construction, Energy, Financial Services, Government, or Healthcare
