Senior Consultant, Environmental & Building Science

Responsibilities

• Manage building science and environmental, health, and safety projects focusing on asbestos, lead, mold, and indoor air quality.
• Develop project budgets, plans, scopes of work, and technical proposals.
• Coordinate project schedules, including subcontractor, vendor, and analytical laboratory management.
• Prepare technical reports in accordance with client and regulatory requirements.
• Provide advanced risk assessment and environmental risk control guidance to clients.
• Conduct quality reviews of work products to ensure technical accuracy and compliance.
• Collaborate with Sales and Client Service teams to support new and expanding projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in environmental science, engineering, occupational safety, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience managing complex asbestos, lead, and mold assessment and remediation projects.
• Valid NYS and NYC asbestos certifications.
• Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to obtain additional federal, state, or local certifications as required.

Preferred Qualifications

• NYS Mold Assessor and Lead certifications.
• PA asbestos/lead licenses.
• Experience in delivering professional training.
