Senior Consultant, Envelope Restoration

Responsibilities

• Manage the growth and execution of services related to the Façade Inspection and Safety Program (FISP)
• Lead a team of Industrial Rope Access (IRA) inspectors and perform periodic rope inspections
• Consult on existing facade design, including forensic review, repair detail preparation, and construction administration
• Advise architects and clients on building enclosure performance, constructability, and durability
• Oversee and review Restoration Division staff reports and project progress
• Manage manpower, technical needs, and division initiatives
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients and management teams
• Document project activities through well-written technical reports

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in building envelope, enclosure, or restoration projects
• SPRAT certification is required
• Experience with industrial rope access
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or Engineering
• Registered Architect or Professional Engineer (PE)
• Strong knowledge of local building codes and architectural design theories
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural drawings
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Experience with Microsoft Word and professional document writing programs
