About the role
Responsibilities
- Understand client risk exposure and develop appropriate information and cybersecurity strategies
- Assess the maturity of current cybersecurity programs and identify areas for improvement
- Build prioritized roadmaps for project investments and organizational change initiatives
- Define and implement cybersecurity frameworks, policies, standards, and procedures
- Support clients by acting as interim team members, such as CISO or cybersecurity manager
- Monitor progress, manage risk, and keep key stakeholders informed of expected outcomes
- Identify and develop new business opportunities to support team growth
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree with a strong affinity for IT security and governance
- Proven experience in assessing or implementing cybersecurity processes and governance
- Knowledge of industry security standards and frameworks such as ISO 2700x, NIST, or COBIT
- Full working proficiency in English and either Dutch or French
- Analytical mindset with the ability to work in a result-oriented environment
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical IT staff and business leadership
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building and maintaining Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) or Business Continuity Management Systems (BCMS)
- Relevant professional certifications such as CISM, CRISC, CISSP, or CISA
- Active involvement in industry organizations like ISACA, L-SEC, or ISF
