Senior Consultant, Communications Strategy & Design

Our work supports evidence-based, community-driven solutions that strengthen public health systems and advance equity across the communities we serve.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary advisor to clients on communication strategy, message development, and creative storytelling
• Develop tailored work plans including messaging frameworks, visual identity systems, and outreach strategies
• Oversee the development of high-quality creative deliverables including reports, infographics, and digital media
• Translate technical or policy-heavy content into clear, visually compelling materials
• Lead project design, manage client relationships, and recognize new business opportunities
• Facilitate workshops, presentations, and stakeholder discussions
• Develop and track metrics to assess communication effectiveness

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Graphic Design, Marketing, or a related field
• Minimum 6 years experience in creative strategy, communications consulting, and design leadership
• Minimum 5 years client-facing experience, including 2+ years in project leadership
• Strong design and visual storytelling portfolio (required)
• Proficiency in Adobe Suite or similar design applications
• Familiarity with Google Workspace, Figma, or Canva
• Exceptional writing, editing, and synthesis skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree
• People management experience
• Experience with AI-assisted workflows (image generation or video production)
• Motion graphics experience
• Familiarity with public health or government communications
