Senior Consultant

Responsibilities

• Work on-site at client locations to understand business operations, processes, and challenges
• Gather and document functional and technical requirements through stakeholder interviews and workshops
• Design end-to-end solutions that address business needs while leveraging appropriate technology capabilities
• Lead implementation activities, including configuring systems and developing integrations
• Act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure mutual understanding
• Provide expert guidance on functional best practices and industry standards
• Conduct user acceptance testing, training, and knowledge transfer to ensure successful adoption
• Troubleshoot issues spanning business processes and technical implementation

Requirements

• 7–10 years of experience as a functional, solution, or implementation consultant
• Deep expertise in financial services business processes such as custody, payments, or banking operations
• Strong technical capabilities including system configuration, APIs, and database management
• Proven experience implementing enterprise software solutions in financial services environments
• Ability to travel to client sites 3+ days per week
• Fluency in English and the local language (German for Zurich, French for Geneva, or Italian for Lugano)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills across both business and technical domains

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with blockchain, digital assets, or cryptocurrency platforms
• Knowledge of core banking platforms like Avaloq, Temenos, or Sopra
• Technical proficiency in Python, SQL, or system integration
• Background in professional services or system integration
