Senior Consultant - Asset Management (SCADA Consultant)

Responsibilities

• Perform Technical Due Diligence (TDD) by assessing SCADA, control systems, and communication architectures for energy projects.
• Identify integration, data integrity, and control hierarchy risks and provide risk-based recommendations.
• Develop SCADA architecture diagrams, functional specifications, signal lists, and data structures.
• Define system requirements for hardware (servers, RTUs, PLCs, networks) and software platforms.
• Manage interfaces and data flows between plant systems, grid operators, and OEM systems through Interface Control Documents (ICDs).
• Support FEED and detailed design phases, including architecture definition and technical specifications.
• Assist with commissioning strategies and system validation to ensure compliance with standards.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronic engineering (or equivalent).
• Strong experience in SCADA systems, control systems, and communications.
• Proven experience in Technical Due Diligence (TDD), FEED, or design engineering.
• Technical knowledge of protocols such as IEC 60870-5-104, Modbus TCP, and OPC.
• Proficiency in producing technical documentation and detailed specifications.
• Understanding of system integration and interface risks within complex environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on offshore wind, transmission, or HVDC projects.
• Exposure to multi-package EPC environments.
• Familiarity with grid operator requirements.
