Senior Consultant

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing support for a portfolio of clients, ensuring IT environments function optimally
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure, networking, and security
• Use proactive monitoring tools to oversee client systems and identify potential issues
• Ensure all service delivery meets or exceeds pre-agreed SLAs
• Implement, monitor, and maintain security protocols including firewalls, VPNs, and endpoint security
• Manage disaster recovery and business continuity strategies
• Provide onsite support to clients in the DMV area for network, server, and cloud issues
• Manage infrastructure projects including migrations, refreshes, and upgrades
• Maintain detailed documentation of client IT infrastructure and configurations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field
• 5+ years of relevant experience
• Extensive experience in an MSP environment
• Proficiency in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS)
• Experience with enterprise networks (Cisco, Meraki)
• Knowledge of cybersecurity solutions
• Ability to travel locally within the DMV area for onsite support

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications in Microsoft, Cisco, or VMware
• Experience with VMware virtualization
• Experience with Linux and Microsoft 365
