About the role

Responsibilities

  • Execute the third-party risk management framework, focusing on the integration of 4th party vendor risks into existing program processes.
  • Track program throughput across the lifecycle, including planning, due diligence, ongoing monitoring, contracting, and termination.
  • Design and periodically review program artifacts, risk methodologies, service categories, and reporting thresholds.
  • Identify gaps and drive continuous improvement across the TPRM lifecycle, including onboarding and offboarding.
  • Assist and guide business partners through various stages of the third-party lifecycle to ensure high-quality program execution.
  • Use dashboards and key risk indicators (KRIs) to monitor risk posture and report progress to risk committees and regulators.
  • Engage with risk domain SMEs, vendors, and 2nd Line of Defense (2LOD) partners to provide necessary input for regulatory deliverables.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and approximately 10 years of related work experience.
  • Deep expertise in the Three Lines of Defense model.
  • Thorough understanding of third-party risk management, including risk scoring and aggregation methodologies.
  • Knowledge of US (OCC, FFIEC, FRB, FDIC) or UK (PRA, FCA) risk regulations.
  • Professional TPRM certification, such as CTPRP or CTPRA.
  • Proven track record managing vendor risk or leading large-scale compliance initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using industry tools such as Coupa, ServiceNow, Cybeta, or Interos.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders across multiple business units and teams.
