Senior Construction Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Provide overall project cost control, schedule management, and quality assurance from design through closeout
• Manage multi-million dollar capital projects, ensuring adherence to approved scope, budget, and schedule
• Administer the selection of design professionals, consultants, and contractors, including scope development and contract negotiation
• Oversee RFI tracking, contract document control, change order reviews, and payment processing
• Coordinate activities of technical discipline team members, specialty consultants, and construction inspectors
• Ensure all necessary jurisdictional approvals are obtained and applicable codes and standards are met
• Maintain critical project information and produce detailed reports using automated project management systems
• Partner with planners during scope development and assist maintenance staff with warranty compliance

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
• 12+ years of progressively responsible construction project management experience
• Proven experience managing multi-million dollar construction projects through the full lifecycle
• Extensive public sector experience in Oregon (city, county, or government facilities)
• Deep expertise in ORS and OAR compliance and Oregon public procurement practices
• Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage A/E consultant services
• CCM or DBIA certification, or the ability to obtain them within 90 days
