Senior Construction Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Conduct periodic site visits to monitor construction progress
• Review work completion, drawings, and specifications compliance
• Review contractors' direct cost payment requisitions and budget status
• Manage subcontracts, bonds, and change orders
• Prepare project status reports and recommend construction fund releases
• Analyze direct and indirect cost budgets and coordinate with Cost Advisory groups
• Review construction and disbursement schedules, zoning approvals, and building permits
• Prepare Construction Risk Assessment Reports

Requirements

• 15 years of professional experience in Construction or Project/Construction Management of Public/Educational facilities
• 5 years of experience coordinating complex projects with values exceeding $20M
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
• 8+ years of construction administration, architecture, or engineering experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and MS Project
• Ability to read and understand architectural drawings
• Strong knowledge of entitlement/permitting processes and construction delivery methods

Preferred Qualifications

• K-12 education sector experience
• Professional Licensure or Certifications such as PE, RA, CCM, AAAE, LEED, PMP, or AICP
