Senior Construction Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all aspects of assigned construction projects from pre-construction to close-out
• Review pre-construction documents and provide feedback to designers
• Monitor project status and report progress to upper management
• Oversee project budgets, schedules, and financial accuracy
• Supervise contractor activities, review schedules, and manage submittals
• Negotiate and review Contractor Change Order Proposals
• Oversee payments for contractors, architects, and engineers
• Ensure successful project close-out including DSA certification and financial reconciliation

Requirements

• 15 years of professional experience in construction or project management for commercial or public/educational facilities
• 5 years of experience managing complex projects valued at over $20 million
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management (or equivalent experience/certification as specified)
• Ability to complete Certified Construction Manager (CCM) credential within one year if required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Design-Build projects
• Proficiency in Building Information Modeling (BIM)
• Knowledge of LEED-certified projects and CHPS
• Familiarity with Division of the State Architect (DSA) processes
• OSHA 30 certification
• Registered Architect or Licensed Professional Engineer
• Certified Construction Manager (CCM) credential
