Senior Construction Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Provide overall management and administration of pre-design, design, construction, commissioning, and close-out services
• Confirm project authorization and funding, prepare cash flow projections, and monitor financial performance
• Oversee capital equipment acquisition and coordinate client move-in and start-up
• Administer selection of design professionals, consultants, and contractors, including scope preparation and contract negotiation
• Manage technical discipline team members, specialty consultants, and construction inspectors
• Ensure safe working practices are followed during construction
• Provide project cost control, schedule management, and quality assurance from pre-design through closeout
• Maintain project records and critical information in automated management systems

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
• Minimum of 10 years of experience managing large new and renovation projects (over $20M)
• Proven experience managing A/E consultant services and construction administration
• Knowledge of design and construction management principles through all phases
• Proficiency in construction drawings, specifications, and constructability reviews
• Ability to manage project finances, estimates, and contract change orders
• Knowledge of national, state, and local codes for site work projects

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree
• Professional registration
• LEED accreditation and LEED project experience
• Experience working with BIM
