About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily subcontractor/crew meetings to review schedules and confirm material and equipment availability
  • Collect, coordinate, and analyze shop drawings, design specifications, and material requirements for quality and contract compliance
  • Provide technical input for work plans and scheduling; identify risks to budget or schedule
  • Track daily production, schedule, and budget projections; document activities using approved methods
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, procurement, and scheduling for assigned scopes
  • Control project quantities and cost coding; coordinate with finance on time, materials, equipment, and subcontractor needs
  • Review and approve daily timecards for construction crews
  • Ensure quality assurance through inspections, certificates, and specification reviews
  • Plan field layout with crews and engineering; manage permits and utility line markings
  • Conduct Job Hazard Analysis (JHAs) and participate in weekly safety meetings
  • Assist estimating and design teams with schedules, technical input, and drawings
  • Coordinate subcontractor methods, schedules, and crews; reconcile close-out checklists at project completion

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field
  • 5+ years of construction engineering, scheduling, or design experience
  • Intermediate knowledge of cost coding, budgeting, and project financials
  • Intermediate knowledge of scheduling processes and industry best practices
  • Knowledge of construction equipment, techniques, drawings, specifications, and materials
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-starter with motivation to learn and grow
