Senior Construction Operations Manager

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight to Project Managers and field supervisory teams across the New Equipment and Modernisation business in Victoria and Tasmania.
• Oversee workforce planning by determining the effective allocation of field staff and subcontractors to ensure optimal project delivery.
• Drive a strong safety culture across all construction operations, ensuring full compliance with EHS policies and regulatory requirements.
• Allocate projects to Project Managers and set clear performance and efficiency targets.
• Partner with the Supply Chain to ensure timely and coordinated delivery of materials to support project schedules.
• Maintain Quality Management Systems and identify opportunities for continuous improvement to enhance operational efficiency.
• Support Project Managers in stakeholder engagement, including onsite safety meetings with builders and clients.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10+ years of experience in field operations management.
• Appropriate Trade qualifications and previous experience working as a Lift tradesperson.
• Proven experience in project management, specifically regarding revenue recognition and installation processes.
• Demonstrated ability to direct profitability performance for New Installation and Modernisation divisions.
• Experience overseeing commercial strategy, operational delivery, and engineering execution.
• Proven ability to champion safety culture initiatives and ensure compliance with regional codes.
• Valid driver's license.
