Senior Construction Materials Testing Technician

Responsibilities

• Independently collect construction materials samples from various construction sites
• Perform tests and inspections to assess material properties and integrity using specialized equipment
• Document findings and communicate results to project managers and stakeholders
• Travel to various job sites around the Kansas City metro
• Work in various terrain and weather conditions

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in construction observation or inspection
• ICC, ACI Grade I, and Nuclear Gauge certifications OR a bachelor's degree in engineering with EIT
• Valid driver's license and a good driving history
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree from a technical or four-year school
• ODOT certifications
