Senior Construction Manager/Engineering Support - Electrical SME

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess construction progress and quality for the construction project portfolio
• Resolve issues associated with interfaces between different executing organizations and the final customer
• Provide subject matter expert assistance in Electrical Engineering and related disciplines
• Complete focused assessments and evaluate/analyze issues to develop corrective actions
• Monitor ongoing construction activities and support planning preparation for future work
• Support project managers with status reports detailing construction completed versus forecast
• Coordinate integration of Federal staff and stakeholders to ensure seamless transitions

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or equivalent (Engineering preferred)
• Minimum 10 years of field engineering or construction oversight experience on projects exceeding $10M
• Excellent professional writing and communication skills
• Ability to possess or obtain a DOE/NNSA "Q" Clearance
• Ability to pass a federal background check and federal drug test
• Availability for weekend, night/shift, and holiday work as required by site needs
