Senior Construction Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of hotel and real estate construction projects
• Develop and implement construction strategies, schedules, and cost estimates
• Oversee all on-site and off-site construction activities ensuring compliance with building codes and safety standards
• Manage subcontractors, consultants, and internal teams
• Review and approve construction plans, designs, and documentation
• Identify and manage design changes, variations, and technical disputes
• Ensure adherence to the project quality plan and conduct regular audits
• Provide technical and commercial input during design, procurement, and construction phases
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure safety integration
• Maintain relationships with developers, architects, consultants, and local authorities

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
• Minimum 10 years of experience in construction management
• Proven track record in hotel development, commercial real estate, and mixed-use projects
• Experience in base building and fit-out projects for retail, hospitality, and shopping centers
• Deep understanding of construction technologies and project controls
• Familiarity with local and international building codes and statutory regulations
• Fluent in English and Spanish

Preferred Qualifications

• Chartered Engineer status
• PMI or PMP certification
