Senior Construction Manager

Responsibilities

• Maintain relationships with Architects, Quantity Surveyors, Clients, and Sub-contractors
• Ensure safe working practices and compliance with all current legislation
• Oversee the appointment of sub-contractors and suppliers
• Manage the construction phase health and safety plan
• Lead on Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental standards
• Optimize team structure and resource use including labour, plant, and materials
• Work with the commercial team to ensure delivery within approved cost plans

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Senior Construction Manager with a Tier 1 or Tier 2 main contractor
• Excellent technical knowledge of construction procedures
• MCIOB and degree qualified in a related subject
• Up to date knowledge of building and Health and Safety legislation
• Commercial and contractual awareness
