Senior Construction Manager

Responsibilities

• Maintain relationships with Architects, Quantity Surveyors, Clients, and Sub-contractors
• Ensure safe working practices and compliance with current legislation
• Manage resources including labour, plant, sub-contractors, and materials
• Oversee the appointment of all sub-contractors and suppliers
• Lead on Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental standards
• Work with the project commercial team to ensure delivery within approved cost plans
• Manage the construction phase health and safety plan

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Senior Construction Manager with a Tier 1 or Tier 2 main contractor
• MCIOB qualification
• Degree qualified in a related subject
• Excellent technical knowledge of construction procedures
• Up to date knowledge of building and Health and Safety legislation
• Commercial and contractual awareness
