Senior Construction Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day construction execution, ensuring safety, schedule, cost, and quality performance
• Oversee installation and integration of complex electrical and mechanical systems including power distribution, backup generation, UPS, and cooling infrastructure
• Drive projects from preconstruction through commissioning and final turnover
• Lead commissioning activities including pre-functional, functional, and integrated systems testing (IST)
• Maintain strong on-site presence to monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with design intent
• Manage procurement and delivery of long-lead equipment such as switchgear, generators, and mechanical systems
• Coordinate with utility providers for power and infrastructure delivery
• Provide leadership to contractors and trade partners
• Ensure safety protocols during energized work and startup activities

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
• 10–15+ years of construction management experience
• Experience with data center or mission-critical projects required
• Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems
• Experience with commissioning and system turnover
• Proven ability to deliver fast-track, complex projects
