Senior Construction Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage energy-efficient design-build projects and performance contracting for commercial buildings within existing facilities.
• Coach and train team members to expand their knowledge and develop skills in project management core functions.
• Manage and communicate all facets of financial stewardship to stakeholders, ensuring project fiscal well-being.
• Proactively assess and identify risks throughout the project lifecycle, establishing mitigation and opportunity capture strategies.
• Cultivate trusted partnerships with internal and external customers through effective communication and collaboration.
• Oversee project execution to ensure scope aligns with contractual intent, obligations, and applicable codes.
• Build project schedules and oversee the resolution of risk elements and key milestones.

Requirements

• 7+ years of Project Management experience specializing in ESCO, Performance Contracting, General Contracting, or Owner Direct Construction.
• Proven experience delivering projects within existing facilities.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and building control systems.
• Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in MS Project, Procore, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
• Expertise in interpreting architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical plans.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Energy Manager (CEM) certification.
• Certified Measurement and Verification Professional (CMVP).
• NEBB Certification for Air & Hydronics, Building Commissioning, or Sound & Vibration.
• USGBC LEED Accredited Professional.
