Senior Construction Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end construction delivery for Quick Commerce micro-fulfillment sites, from site selection through handover
• Own relationships with external General Contractors and vendors, including contract execution and management
• Manage RFPs, bid leveling, and contractor selection, presenting GMPs to leadership for budget approval
• Act as the lead facilitator of information during the construction phase to drive projects along the critical path
• Manage changes to scope, including requests for information and change orders related to cost or time
• Perform periodic site visits to confirm schedule progress, attend contractor meetings, and act as the primary Amazon representative
• Lead continuous improvement and lessons learned efforts to improve standards, reduce costs, and expedite timelines

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of project management and implementation experience
• 5+ years of experience in construction-related disciplines (Architect, Engineer, or Construction Manager)
• 5+ years of experience negotiating construction, procurement, and labor contracts
• Willingness to travel to job sites 60% of the work week

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in tenant improvement projects, including due diligence, estimating, and closeout
• Experience communicating complex concepts clearly and persuasively to different audiences
• Experience in facilities management or program management
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification
