Senior Construction Inspector

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site inspections of construction projects including architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical components
• Review shop drawings and material submittals to verify installations match contract documents
• Maintain inspection logs and daily reports for the COR
• Enforce safety compliance following OSHA, NFPA, and OHWB standards
• Support project commissioning and closeout including punch lists, O&M manuals, and as-builts
• Provide technical support to COR regarding change orders and constructability issues

Requirements

• US Citizenship required
• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance
• Active Certified Construction Inspector (CCI) certification
• High School graduate or equivalent with building trade journeyman accreditation
• 10+ years of field trade experience in electrical, mechanical, civil, structural, or architectural facilities construction or supervision
• Thorough knowledge of construction inspection principles, facilities engineering, QA/QC methodologies, and building codes
