Senior Construction Estimator

Responsibilities

• Utilize cost methodologies and tools to produce cost estimates and incorporate project complexity factors
• Perform uncertainty analysis and sensitivities on cost estimates to reflect project risks
• Manage reviews and audits of cost estimates and benchmark against historical performance
• Develop high-level conceptual estimates and capacity factored estimates
• Translate project scope and engineering deliverables into capital expenditure estimates for design, procurement, and construction
• Develop detailed project cost estimates incorporating project actuals and MTOs
• Develop Estimate Basis documentation
• Establish processes to collect and normalize actual cost performance data for benchmarking

Requirements

• Engineering Degree and/or certification as a Cost Estimator
• Minimum 12 years industry experience in senior or lead estimator positions
• Excellent analytical, oral, and written communication skills
• Full proficiency with Cost Estimating principles, techniques, and industry standard tools
