Senior Construction Cost Estimator

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end estimating, budgeting, and cash flow forecasting for data center projects
• Develop CAPEX cost models aligned with design progression and business objectives
• Prepare detailed estimates for MEP systems and mission-critical infrastructure
• Evaluate contractor and vendor proposals through benchmarking and commercial analysis
• Deliver cost reports, dashboards, and executive summaries to leadership
• Build and maintain cost benchmarking databases and unit-rate libraries
• Support site feasibility studies, value engineering, and cost optimization initiatives
• Establish scalable tools and repeatable processes for the infrastructure pipeline
• Maintain WBS structures and cost coding frameworks

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field
• 10+ years of estimating and cost management experience in data centers or mission-critical facilities
• Deep technical knowledge of MEP systems and mission-critical infrastructure
• Proficiency with CostX, Sage Estimating, Bluebeam, or Procore
• Strong analytical, financial reporting, and presentation skills
• Experience with procurement activities and contractor selection
• Willingness to travel up to 25%, including international travel

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certifications such as AACE, RICS, CMAA, or CCP
• Background with general contractors, owner’s rep firms, or tech infrastructure
