Senior Connectivity Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and integrate connectivity software features across Android, Windows, and embedded platforms
• Implement, optimize, and tune wireless networking protocols and sensing algorithms
• Design, implement, and troubleshoot peer-to-peer technologies for secure, low-latency connectivity
• Collaborate with wireless chipset vendors and internal engineering teams to optimize performance
• Analyze and troubleshoot complex wireless behavior, including QoS bottlenecks and interoperability issues

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• 6+ years of experience in device software development
• 3+ years of experience developing software SDKs/frameworks on Android, Linux, or similar OS platforms
• Strong programming skills in Java, C, C++, or Objective-C
• Familiarity with radio standards such as 802.11 and Bluetooth
• Experience collaborating across hardware, OS, and QA teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in C/C++ and embedded systems programming
• Strong understanding of peer-to-peer technologies and sensing techniques
• Experience working directly with wireless chipset vendors
• Expertise in wireless performance analysis using tools such as Wireshark
