About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead development, integration, and lifecycle management of connectivity solutions
- Partner with Product, Hardware, Firmware, and Manufacturing teams
- Conduct technical investigations, proof-of-concepts, and vendor evaluations
- Develop connectivity reference architectures, design standards, and test methodologies
- Mentor engineers through technical guidance and design reviews
- Evaluate and integrate cellular modem modules and support carrier certification
- Manage connectivity-related lifecycle activities including firmware maintenance
Requirements
- 5–7+ years in systems, networking, embedded connectivity, or telecommunications engineering
- Deep L2/L3 networking skills (VLAN, QoS, NAT, VRFs, policy-based routing)
- Experience with hardware at scale and API-driven automation
- Experience with embedded modem modules and connected-device platforms
- Proficiency in Python or shell scripting for automation
- Deep understanding of eUICC/eSIM, multi-IMSI, and dual-WAN/dual-SIM failover
- Strong documentation and communication skills
