Senior Configuration Management Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Work with Engineers and Subject Matter Experts to drive configuration management strategies for software and hardware design, development, and integration
• Author CM plans in alignment with contractual and project requirements
• Establish configuration baselines for deliverable software and hardware items across various scales
• Maintain changes in configuration item disposition, location, and status to support effective decision making
• Perform analytics and generate reports regarding point-in-time differences relative to prior baselines
• Conduct functional and physical configuration audits of internal and subcontractor deliverables
• Administrate software code libraries, source code management tools, and product-lifecycle-management tools
• Provide front-line engineering end-user support for CM tools

Requirements

• Two- or three-year accredited diploma or certificate in an applied science or engineering technology discipline
• Minimum 5 years of experience in software, CM, or hardware/systems engineering
• Proficiency with the Windows operating system
• Familiarity with software CM tools
• Ability to obtain and hold SECRET status II security clearance
• Ability to pass Controlled Goods Program (CGP) assessment

Preferred Qualifications

• CM-II or equivalent certification
• Administrator-level familiarity with GIT, JIRA, Subversion, AGILE, FileHold, or SharePoint
• Familiarity with internationally recognized CM Standards (MIL-STD-973, IEEE-488, ISO 10007)
• Experience working within a certified quality management system (e.g., ISO 9001)
• Familiarity with Linux operating systems
• Experience in CM/Engineering within the Government, military, or aerospace industries
