Senior Conference Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of high-quality, industry-relevant content programmes and summits
• Lead and develop a team of Conference Managers, providing coaching and 1:1 support
• Identify and engage key opinion leaders, influencers, and institutions to serve as speakers
• Drive content strategies in alignment with overall exhibition propositions
• Manage industry advisory boards and maintain relationships with government and co-organizing partners
• Oversee onsite delivery of conference and workshop programmes, managing speakers and temporary staff
• Collaborate with Event Directors, Sales, and Marketing leads to identify and drive commercial opportunities
• Conduct market surveys and analysis to validate future programme themes and topics

Requirements

• 5-7 years of experience organizing international content programmes
• Proven experience managing and developing direct reports
• Strong business experience within the Middle East market
• Ability to network and chair meetings with C-Level executives
• Excellent copywriting and professional communication skills
• Fluency in written and spoken English
• Strong multitasking abilities and the capacity to manage complex sub-programs simultaneously
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to break down complex industry concepts
