About the role

Responsibilities

  • Deliver highly efficient software on Programmable Vision Accelerators (PVA) for Autonomous Driving solutions
  • Analyze, prototype, and optimize key applications for both existing and next-generation PVA architectures
  • Build predictive models for performance, power, and reliability to evaluate new architectural features
  • Develop tools to analyze, simulate, validate, and verify application performance and energy consumption
  • Collaborate across teams to advance PVA architecture in performance, efficiency, reliability, and programmability

Requirements

  • Masters or PhD (or equivalent experience) in Computer Engineering, CS&E, Computer Science, or AI
  • 3+ years of relevant professional experience
  • Excellent C/C++ programming and software design skills
  • Strong background in computer architecture and high-performance computing
  • Experience in performance modeling, profiling, debugging, and code optimization
  • Architectural knowledge of CPU and DSP

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with DSP programming, performance analysis, modeling, and optimization
  • GPU programming experience
  • Autonomous vehicle software development experience
  • Expertise in characterizing and modeling system-level performance and documenting results
  • Experience in deep learning, computer vision, and the self-driving car domain
