Senior Computer Systems Engineer/Architect

Responsibilities

• Identify and refine mission requirements and coordinate buy-in with key stakeholders
• Generate feasibility and technical analysis reports to assist Government decision-making
• Manage project planning and execution following project management best practices
• Identify system hardware, software, and operational changes to enhance OMS efficiency
• Conduct feasibility studies including risk analysis, cost estimates, and effort requirements

Requirements

• Active DOD Top Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility
• Current Security+ Certification (IAT II)
• Bachelor's degree in IT or Computer Science (or 8+ years experience in lieu of degree)
• Minimum 8 years of experience in design and implementation of system architectures on major NSS in the DoD
• Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux
• Experience with Microsoft Copilot or equivalent AI solutions to improve workflows
• Strong background supporting high-visibility systems transmitting worldwide
• Excellent technical writing and communication skills
• Proficiency in developing and maintaining SOPs and TTPs

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of the use of C2 messaging in the DoD
