Senior Composites Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Contribute to detailed design specifications from cradle to grave, defining and supporting component or system validation, servicing, and utilization.
• Take ownership of complex composite components and sub-systems, applying theoretical knowledge to real-world racing applications.
• Execute concept design and scheming of components.
• Detail machined parts, patterns, and molds.
• Specify laminates and extend designs to necessary component jigs and build tooling.
• Resolve technical issues as they arise throughout the design lifecycle.

Requirements

• Engineering degree or equivalent.
• Solid foundational knowledge of engineering first principles.
• Previous experience in F1 or high-level motorsport.
• Proficiency in CAD software (Catia V5/3DX preferred; experience with NX or similar will be supported with training).
• Self-motivated and analytical mindset with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Creative and pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
