Senior Component Owner

Responsibilities

• Manage the development and maintenance of automotive ECUs, specifically for radio modules and infotainment systems.
• Drive requirement gathering, technical specification writing, and component integration into electrical systems.
• Lead discussions with suppliers regarding requirements definition, design, validation, and follow-up.
• Define and monitor node metrics such as memory utilization and CPU load.
• Lead Release Readiness Reviews (RRR) and represent nodes in Engineering Design Reviews (EDR).
• Oversee software integration, verification on hardware, and resolution of deviations to meet quality benchmarks.
• Manage node documentation, part numbers, and variants using product management tools.
• Support Product Owners and Project Managers with proactive planning, including FMEA and HARA.

Requirements

• BE/Btech or ME/M Tech degree.
• 6 to 8 years of experience in hardware and software development, maintenance, or integration.
• Proven experience with automotive ECUs and systems.
• Strong experience in supplier interaction and negotiation.
• Hands-on experience with KOLA, Configurator, and various release tools.
• Experience managing verification and acceptance testing.
• Proficiency in managing PCRs, PPCNs, and deviations.
• Strong problem-solving skills regarding supplier quality issues and CPIs.
