Senior Compliance Specialist

Responsibilities

• Support the Compliance Officer function in accordance with MaRisk to monitor legal regulations and prevent institutional damage
• Implement effective legal monitoring procedures and corresponding controls
• Provide advice to management and business units regarding regulatory compliance
• Develop proposals for compliance risk mitigation measures
• Review organizational instructions for compliance relevance
• Participate in the New Product Process from a compliance perspective
• Monitor other functions with respect to MaRisk Compliance
• Support conflicts of interest management and annual MaRisk compliance risk assessments and reporting

Requirements

• Higher education degree in Finance, Economics, Business Management, or Law
• 2-3 years of relevant work experience in banking and finance (in-house or consultancy)
• Good understanding of risk management software
• Strong knowledge of regulatory standards
• Analytical and detail-oriented mindset with strong stakeholder management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Fluency in German is a strong plus
