Responsibilities

• Act as a subject matter expert
• Conduct onboarding and client file reviews
• Conduct and oversee advanced transaction monitoring, including blockchain forensics and sanction alerts
• Prepare and file Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs)
• Drive the interpretation and implementation of evolving regulatory requirements
• Coordinate with legal first line and operational risk teams
• Develop and maintain the compliance framework, including risk assessments, policies, and controls
• Conduct and monitor second line controls
• Conduct compliance training and internal workshops
• Support internal and external audits
• Independent implementation of compliance projects

Requirements

• Strong technical understanding of Swiss AML regulations, CDB framework, KYC, and sanctions regimes
• University degree or equivalent
• Relevant experience in the Swiss financial industry
• Interest in DLT and crypto assets
• Knowledge of Swiss financial market regulation; EU regulation knowledge is a plus
• Fluency in German and English
• Must have the right to work in Switzerland (Swiss work permit or EU/EFTA citizenship)

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional qualifications such as Swiss CPA
• Residency in the Greater Zurich area
