Senior Compensation Specialist

Responsibilities

• Lead complex compensation program reviews to ensure equitable pay structures and competitive market positioning
• Ensure compliance with employment legislation, minimum wage requirements, and governance frameworks
• Partner with HR Centres of Expertise to evaluate job structures and optimize Workday compensation functionality
• Support labour relations by analyzing union compensation plans and providing insights on market trends and cost impacts
• Deliver data-driven recommendations to inform strategic decisions and compensation-related investments
• Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance program effectiveness and alignment with collective agreements
• Resolve complex compensation issues by collaborating across HR, Finance, and various business partners

Requirements

• University degree in a relevant field
• 5–7+ years of professional compensation experience
• Advanced skills in data analysis, research, and reporting
• Strong analytical expertise and ability to manage complex data sets

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation
