About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage bi-annual compensation cycles, including merit, promotions, top performer bonuses, and equity top-ups.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor for offer decisions, promotions, retention scenarios, and off-cycle adjustments.
  • Partner with People Business Partners and managers to build compensation literacy across the organization.
  • Maintain and optimize salary bands and job leveling frameworks to ensure market competitiveness and internal equity.
  • Monitor compensation legislation changes and translate regulatory updates into policy actions.
  • Own Workday compensation data, including building job profiles and assisting with compensation cycle configuration.
  • Collaborate with Total Rewards leadership and Finance to develop executive-ready materials for the Compensation Committee.
  • Lead participation in benchmark surveys and analyze market data to inform compensation strategy.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in compensation management, ideally within high-growth SaaS or tech companies.
  • Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, V-lookups, complex formulas).
  • Hands-on experience with Workday, specifically Core and Advanced Compensation modules.
  • Deep knowledge of compensation legislation, including FLSA, federal/state exemption thresholds, and Fair Pay regulations.
  • Experience managing third-party compensation vendors such as Radford.
  • Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States.
