About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead advanced analyses of compensation, benefits, and workforce data to support strategic decision-making and budgeting.
  • Manage Workday HelpDesk tickets related to Compensation & Benefits and resolve Tier 1 issues.
  • Collaborate with insurance carriers and benefits brokers to ensure accurate program administration.
  • Perform audits of benefits enrollment data across Workday, vendor, and payroll systems.
  • Support annual compensation planning and Open Enrollment processes, including testing and employee communications.
  • Conduct market benchmarking and internal equity assessments to support pay recommendations.
  • Develop and enhance recurring and ad-hoc reports, dashboards, and models to inform program decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations regarding total rewards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in compensation, benefits, or HR analytics (or a Master's degree with 2+ years of experience).
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and complex modeling.
  • Experience with HRIS platforms such as Workday, SAP, or Oracle.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of compensation design principles, salary structures, and incentive plans.
  • Knowledge of federal and state employment laws related to employee benefits and leave of absence.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear narratives.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
  • High level of integrity and discretion when managing sensitive employee data.
