Senior Community Engagement Advisor

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver community and stakeholder engagement plans and high-quality communication materials
• Engage with stakeholders and community members through multiple channels and maintain accurate records
• Build strong on-site relationships and provide guidance on engagement issues and complaints
• Identify community and stakeholder risks and help minimise impacts
• Promote organisational values and embed a strong customer-focused culture
• Contribute to reporting, continuous improvement, and positive organisational reputation

Requirements

• Minimum 8+ years of experience in community and stakeholder engagement
• Knowledge of or training in IAP2 principles
• Tertiary qualifications in communications, public relations, sustainability, environmental management, urban planning, engineering, or related social sciences
• Demonstrated experience working on infrastructure projects, ideally during construction or delivery phases
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Current Driver’s Licence and the ability to drive on-site
