About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver community and stakeholder engagement plans and high-quality communication materials
- Engage with stakeholders and community members through multiple channels and maintain accurate records
- Build strong on-site relationships and provide guidance on engagement issues and complaints
- Identify community and stakeholder risks and help minimise impacts
- Promote organisational values and embed a strong customer-focused culture
- Contribute to reporting, continuous improvement, and positive organisational reputation
Requirements
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in community and stakeholder engagement
- Knowledge of or training in IAP2 principles
- Tertiary qualifications in communications, public relations, sustainability, environmental management, urban planning, engineering, or related social sciences
- Demonstrated experience working on infrastructure projects, ideally during construction or delivery phases
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Current Driver’s Licence and the ability to drive on-site
