About the role
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and implement communications activities for PFP initiatives and Earth for Life special projects
- Prepare short- and long-term communications work plans in collaboration with leadership and country offices
- Assist in the development of donor materials and manage a comprehensive reporting calendar
- Develop targeted communications and advocacy plans for protected and conserved area boundaries
- Support consistent program messaging and storytelling across various WWF channels and partner teams
- Maintain a cohesive web presence for the Earth for Life team's work
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in communications, international studies, or a relevant subject
- Minimum of six years of professional communications experience (or advanced degree with three years)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a matrixed environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Spanish language proficiency
- Knowledge of area-based conservation, Indigenous peoples, and sustainable finance
