About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead the execution of commissioning test procedures including pre-functional checklists, functional performance tests, and integrated systems tests
  • Review and provide input on commissioning test scripts, MOPs, punch lists, and turnover documentation
  • Serve as a field-level technical resource for troubleshooting electrical or controls disciplines
  • Coordinate with trade contractors and subcontractors to schedule and support on-site commissioning activities
  • Verify installation conditions against approved drawings, submittals, and specifications
  • Track and drive closure of open deficiencies and maintain accurate commissioning records
  • Support integrated systems testing and reliability demonstrations for critical MEP and EPMS infrastructure
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to Junior CxE team members
  • Adhere to and enforce site safety protocols and compliance requirements

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in data center commissioning, building systems, or critical infrastructure construction
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • Solid understanding of data center systems including power distribution and EPMS systems
  • Working knowledge of commissioning levels L1 through L5
  • Ability to independently execute and troubleshoot functional and integrated system tests
  • Proficiency in reading construction drawings, single-line diagrams, and equipment specifications
  • Willingness to travel to project sites (up to 75% travel)
