Senior Commercial Specialist

Responsibilities

• Review and understand terms and conditions and obligations under the main contract
• Contribute to the Project Opportunity and Risk Register (ORR)
• Attend weekly internal and external project team meetings
• Facilitate project bonds, guarantees, and insurances required by Client contract
• Provide Client with vessel mobilisation notifications
• Review vessel summary documents and Client Cost Trackers using Daily Project Reports
• Support Project Controller in tracking and forecasting costs in ERP systems
• Identify goods and services for procurement in conjunction with project management and specialists
• Support Subcontract Specialist with identifying main contract flow downs for subcontracts

Requirements

• 7+ years relevant work experience in subsea or oil and gas commercial/contracts project environments
• University Degree in Law, Business, or Quantity Surveying preferred
• Understanding of LOGIC and FIDIC contracting principles
• Ability to translate contracts into subcontract arrangements
• Working knowledge of project execution
• Sound commercial understanding applied to project delivery
• Previous experience in cost tracking and forecasting
