Senior Commercial Real Estate Portfolio Representative

Responsibilities

• Service commercial real estate loans and act as the primary servicing contact for customers
• Support and mentor less experienced loan administrators by providing work direction and guidance
• Review complex loan servicing documentation, including booking and funding new loans and modifications
• Monitor collateral, prepare payoff letters, and manage insurance coverage and billing
• Review loan documents to summarize salient facts and ongoing financial or non-financial covenants
• Analyze third-party documents such as appraisals and site inspection reports to identify asset performance factors
• Perform quality assurance checks on work performed by junior team members and provide feedback
• Respond independently to high-level customer complaints and resolve complex inquiries

Requirements

• 3+ years of Commercial Loan Servicing experience or equivalent demonstrated experience
• Ability to exercise independent judgment regarding function, policies, and compliance requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience handling wire and check disbursements
• Knowledge of commercial mortgages and the commercial real estate loan life cycle
• Ability to interpret and understand complex loan agreements and legal documents
• Experience in coaching, mentoring, and performing quality reviews for team members
• Strong attention to detail and ability to synthesize findings from various reports
